Swipe Photos: Save Space / Privacy

Your photos.
Your data.

How the app and this website handle information.

Document version: 2026-09-22. This document covers Swipe Photos: Save Space with purchases disabled and the website vareniq.studio/swipe-photos.

1. Who is responsible

The developer and owner is Kirill Kashin, Cyprus, operating under the Vareniq Studio brand. Vareniq Studio is a brand name, not a statement of incorporation. For privacy questions and support, contact [email protected].

2. Access to photos and videos

With your permission, the app uses Apple PhotoKit to read available photos and videos, their identifiers, dates, types, sizes, durations and other technical properties, display previews, and perform deletions you confirm. Limited access restricts the app to the files you allow.

Photo library processing takes place on your device. The reviewed current version has no mechanism for sending photos, videos or library information to the developer’s server, and includes no accounts, advertising or analytics SDKs.

3. Local data and caches

To let you continue sorting, the app stores file identifiers, keep/delete/later decisions, short-session progress, up to 100 undo actions and a confirmed-deletion count in Application Support. Appearance, language and onboarding preferences are stored in local app settings.

The resource-analysis cache contains identifiers, revisions, sizes and SHA-256 checksums. Apple Vision computes image features on the device to find similar photos; serialised features and revisions are cached. These are derived technical data, not extra copies of your original photos. Thumbnails are temporarily held in memory.

Caches are updated as available files change and may be removed by iOS. Local history remains until the app is removed or its normal operation changes that history. Revoking access limits further library reads but does not itself promise immediate deletion of every local record. After a library refresh, unavailable identifiers are removed from the active state.

Device backups are governed by iOS and your settings. Local data may be included in system backups. Removing the app does not automatically remove previously created backups.

4. PhotoKit, Vision and iCloud

PhotoKit provides authorised library access, Vision compares image features locally, and AVKit plays available videos. Network access for originals and previews is disabled in the app’s requests. If a resource is only in iCloud, some analysis and size information may be unavailable.

iCloud Photos, system backups and Apple diagnostic services are governed by your settings and Apple’s documentation. These are separate from any data sent to the developer through Swipe Photos: Save Space.

5. Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are disabled in the current configuration. StoreKit integration exists in the code, but the disabled configuration does not check entitlements, load products or observe transactions. This website does not request payment details. Before purchases launch, this document will be updated to describe actual transaction processing by Apple and the app.

6. Visiting this website

The website does not access your photo library. It uses system fonts and locally hosted assets, with no external fonts, analytics, advertising pixels or email collection forms. The website code does not set cookies or use localStorage.

When you connect, the origin server and Cloudflare process your IP address, request time, page URL, browser information and technical connection details to deliver pages, protect the service and diagnose problems. Cloudflare may process data outside Cyprus under the safeguards described in its privacy policy.

The origin server has access logging disabled. Cloudflare may process and retain technical connection and security data under its privacy policy and the account's configured security settings.

Cloudflare security features may process technical data and, depending on enabled features, set strictly necessary cookies. The website itself does not use optional cookies.

7. Support requests

If you email [email protected], the owner and mail provider receive your address, message and any files you choose to attach so they can respond. Do not send your personal photo library. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to answer the request, handle follow-up questions and meet applicable legal obligations, then deleted when it is no longer needed.

8. Legal bases, rights and contact

Technical website data is processed for the legitimate interests of delivering and securing the service. Support correspondence is processed to respond to your request and, where relevant, to take steps at your request before providing a service. These interests do not override your applicable data-protection rights.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, object to processing, and complain to a competent supervisory authority. Contact [email protected]. The developer cannot access your photos or local sorting history through a server; manage them on your device.

9. Changes

We will update this page and its date as features or data processing change. The description will be reviewed before enabling payments or new services. Material changes should be communicated to users appropriately.
